The Pitch:
When global tweens, Sage, Mei, Gabe and Themba are snatched by advanced underwater beings they discover humanity has taken an evolutionary leap. And they’re it. Now they’ll have to use their next-generation abilities to escape.
The short version:
An MG contemporary fantasy told in the distinct voices of four multicultural characters.
Children are being stolen but Sage, Mei, Gabe and
Themba haven’t been, yet. They’re four global tweens recruited by the Enlerians,
advanced ocean-dwelling beings, because they have powers coded within them - powers
that can save the children.
The Korastians, another underwater civilization,
have decided that humanity is hopeless and are stealing children in their bid
to control the earth. Now these four kids are tasked with
getting themselves kidnapped in order to infiltrate the domed world of Korast,
save the children being reprogrammed there, and stop the eradication of
adults above.
To succeed they will have to believe the Enlerians
and dive in, accepting what they are truly capable of. Fighting advanced mental
and technological weapons, it will take all their new found powers to save
themselves, let alone humanity.

Themba: seeing the endless possibilities of each moment helps him escape the mine collapse but not the nightmares after
